reconciliation

I've been involved in reconciliation work for over ten years, firstly working with young Palestinians and Israelis before moving to Birmingham and the Global Christianity Programme. It took me a while to fully recognise that reconciliation is at the very heart of the Christian gospel and so should inform all ministry in Christ's name. This revelation led me into membership of the Corrymeela Community and work in Sri Lanka, Kenya and Rwanda, as well as Ireland. I seek to be a practitioner of reconciliation in all aspects of life and am committed to a better understanding of contextual theologies of reconciliation.

In the coming months, I will be putting here some of my thoughts and reflections on reconciliation, peace and justice, as well as links to organisations and projects I have been involved with or would recommend to others.

I was a faciitator and pastoral advisor on this Programme for five year from 2008, working with young Israelis and Palestinians at City, University of London. It was a privilege to accompany different cohorts of students as they learnt from each other in dialogue, study and encounter.
